California scored its first and last runs off homers to improve to 26-1 overall while the Tigers drop to 3-10. … “We did a really good job of coming out aggressive today and we took control early!” Arioto said. In addition to scoring two runs, Arioto pitched the five-inning victory. Arioto allowed just three hits and struck out seven “Lindsey [Ziegenhirt] called a great game for me and kept their batters off balance!” Arioto said. Valerie Arioto started things off with a two-run shot to right, marking her 11th homerun of the year.”
