2016 Season: Erica finished her rookie season hitting .091 in 11 at-bats with 1 run, 1 hit and 1 double.

COLLEGE: Three-time CAA Defensive Player of the Year. SENIOR (2016): NFCA First Team All-Region, CAA Defensive Player of the Year, CAA All-Tournament Team, All-CAA First Team. Broke the JMU All-Time Career Hits record (233) with a solo home run at No. 21 Arizona State. Broke JMU all-time career records for at bats, hits, doubles, sac flies and putouts. JUNIOR (2015): CAA Defensive Player of the Year, All-CAA First Team, NFCA First Team All-Northeast Region, ECAC Second Team All-Star, VaSID First Team All-State, CAA Championship All-Tournament Team, Broke four JMU single-season records for batting average (.427), hits (85), doubles (21) and total bases (139), set three JMU career records for doubles, RBIs and putouts. SOPHOMORE (2014): CAA co-Defensive Player of the Year, All-CAA First Team, NFCA First Team All-Region, CAA All-Tournament Team, CAA Player of the Week, College Sports Madness Preseason First Team All-CAA, JMU Athletic Director Scholar-Athlete. FRESHMAN (2013): CAA All-Rookie Team, VaSID Second Team All-State, NFCA Leadoff Classic All-Tournament Team, CAA Player of the Week, CAA Rookie of the Week, JMU Athletics Director Scholar-Athlete.

PERSONAL: Born Erica Field on August 17, 1994 to Rita and Ben Field. Has one older sister, Alicia, who played softball at Virginia Tech. Has a younger brother named Daniel. Enjoys art, basketball and movies. Currently majoring in finance at James Madison University.
