Pride Players representing at the Women’s Sports Foundation Annual Salute Dinner

This year USSSA is delighted to see that our very own USSSA Pride Players attended the Women’s Sports Foundation Annual Salute Dinner in New York.  As you can see from the picture in this articles the girls got dressed up and proudly represented the Pride for what was a fantastic evening. Cat Osterman, Caitlin Lowe and Jessica Mendoza are pictures with the 2011 College Softball Athlete of the Year, Stanford grad Ashley Hansen.

The Women’s Sports Foundation was founded in 1974 and is excited to promote female sports including Fastpitch Softball. Their annual dinner took place last night, October 19th at the historic Cipriani Wall Street in the heart of New York City. This years event celebrates the 32nd year of this annual dinner.

Jessica Mendoza is very much in the spotlight at the moment being a NCAA Sideline Reporter on ESPN. Back during the season she was interviewed on ESPNW talking about her personal journey to become one of the most famous athletes in fastpitch softball and how much it means to her to be a part of the NPF and USSSA families.
