Vs. Florida State University, April 4

“Senior Michelle Moultrie (Jacksonville, Fla.) laid down a bunt single for runners on first and second with no outs to set up S. Fagan’s three-run dinger.”

Vs. Ole Miss, April 6, 7, and 8

4/6: Florida 5, Ole Miss 0

4/7: Florida 9, Ole Miss 1

4/8: Florida 14, Ole Miss 3

Moultrie, 4/4-8: (AB-10; R-6; H-3; RBI-0; BB-2; SO-0; PO-3; A-0; LOB-2)

“After senior Michelle Moultrie (Jacksonville, Fla.) reached on a Rebel fielding error in the third inning and advanced to second on a passed ball, S. Fagan sent UF’s lone senior scampering for home with her fifth double of the season to take the Gators up, 1-0. S. Fagan then proceeded to swipe third, her 10th stolen base of the season, before scoring on a Bruning wild pitch to take the Orange and Blue up, 2-0, heading to the fourth.”

“With bases loaded after a senior Michelle Moultrie (Jacksonville, Fla.) walk, a S. Fagan bunt single and a Haeger walk, sophomore Cheyenne Coyle(West Hills, Calif.) reached on a free pass to send UF’s first run of the game across home, while a junior Kelsey Horton (Valrico, Fla.) ground out brought UF’s second score across the dish with just one out on the board.

“…Moultrie snagged a ball in center to retire the side, enabling the Gators to take a 6-1 lead to the bottom of the fourth.”

“Seven Gators tallied hits on the afternoon, led by Castro (2-for-2, three runs, seven RBI, two walks), senior Michelle Moultrie (Jacksonville, Fla.) (2-for-2, three runs, one walk) and junior Kelsey Horton (Valrico, Fla.) (2-for-3, two runs).

“…In typical Moultrie fashion, the Gator led off the first for Florida with a bunt single, swiped her 18th base of the season and crossed home on a Bruning wild pitch to put up UF’s first run of the Sunday finale.

“…Moultrie was hit by her eighth pitch of the year to load the bases. Next up, S. Fagan drew a two-out walk to bring Medina home for a 4-0 lead.”

“…Freshman Lauren Haeger (Peoria, Ariz.) stepped in next, roping a two-RBI base hit through the left side to plate both Damico and Moultrie for the 8-0 lead.”
