Pride to Host Cleveland Comets at Space Coast Stadium
Viera, FL– (June 17, 2018) The Pride are headed back to the USSSA Space Coast Stadium to face the Cleveland Comets. The three-game series will begin on June 18 and conclude Wednesday, June 20.
All games for this series will start at 7:05 p.m. ET and fans can watch every game, for free, all summer long on NPFTV.com.
The past week the Pride defeated the Cleveland Comets on the road in a two-game series by a combined score of 17-2, to improve their overall record to 9-0 to start the season. The third game of the series against the Comets was postponed due to weather.
In the past nine games, the Pride offense leads the NPF in RBIs- 13 by Chelsea Goodacre, on base percentage- Sierra Romero .571 and triples – three by Megan Wiggins. The Pride pitching staff has totaled 59 strikeouts with a 0.36 ERA and has thrown five shutouts.

- Megan Wiggins: Currently leads the league and the Pride in triples (3) and is second in the league for runs (11)0. In the leadoff spot this season Wiggins is hitting .419 with 10 RBIs.
- Kelsey Nunley: Nunley is currently 2-0 on the season. She leads the Pride and is second in the league with a .44 ERA, with 24 strikeouts and one shutout.
- Chelsea Goodacre: Goodacre leads the Pride and the league in RBIs, with 13. She has been a consistent hitter in the line-up for the Pride this season with a .500 batting average and .786 slugging percentage.
- Sierra Romero: Currently leads the league in on base percentage (.571). On the season, Romero is batting .500 with a .967 slugging percentage and leads the Pride with 15 hits which puts her sixth in the league.
