USSSA Pride to Face Chicago Bandits at Rosemont Stadium
Viera, FL– July 21, 2017-After sweeping the Chicago Bandits in a two-game series, the Pride are heading to Chicago for a quick two-game series against the Bandits. First pitch is set for 8:35 PM(ET) on Saturday, July 22nd for game one and 4:05 PM (ET) for game two on Sunday.
The Pride currently stand at the top of the league with a 25-6 record. In thirty-one games, the Pride have scored 157 runs, with 31 home runs, and 143 RBI. The Pride pitching staff has combined for 191 strikeouts while only issuing 47 walks and averaging a 1.65 ERA.

Pride Players to Watch:
- Kelly Kretschman: Kelly currently leads the league in batting average (.486), on-base percentage (.627) and slugging percentage (.811). She leads the Pride in hits (36), runs (22) batting average (.486), slugging percentage and on-base percentage.
- Lauren Chamberlain: Is leading the Pride team in HR (7). She currently has 21 RBI, 23 hits, hitting .277 with 13 runs and a .351 on-base percentage. In the Pride’s last game against the Bandits, Chamberlain blasted two home runs on the same night putting her as home-run leader in the NPF, tied with Lauren Haeger.
- Chelsea Goodacre: Currently has 22 RBI, 5 home runs, 24 hits, 18 run and is hitting .286 with a .307 on-base percentage.
- Jordan Taylor: Jordan leads the league in ERA (.625) and has 8 saves with 18 strikeouts in only 11.2 innings pitched this season.
