Anderson Bat Company adds as NPF Official Supplier
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 9, 2017) – National Pro Fastpitch announced the addition of Anderson Bat Company to the League’s Official Equipment Supplier category. This is the first time in the company’s 18 year history it will be affiliated with NPF.
As an Official Supplier in the category of bats, NPF players will have the option to swing either of two models supplied by Anderson, the Rocketech or the Supernova. The Rocketech model is recognized for power, while the Supernova is a specialty “slapper” bat.
“Anderson Bat Company is extremely excited to be part of the National Pro Fastpitch family,” said Dennis Castro, Director of Sales and Marketing. “It has been a hope for us and we are ready to be a part of the league’s success. We look forward to our relationship with NPF players and teams in the upcoming season.”
Anderson, headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, California, touts performance bats that are designed, engineered and manufactured to improve performance by maximizing vibrational energy. Complimenting the design are high quality raw materials used to deliver one of the largest effective hitting areas in the sport.
“National Pro Fastpitch is pleased to add Anderson Bats to our Official Supplier category,” commented NPF Commissioner, Cheri Kempf. “We appreciate the confidence of Anderson in putting the Rocketech and Supernova in the hands of our professional players in 2017 and we look forward to seeing the performance of these two bats at the highest level.”
National Pro Fastpitch opens its 14th season on Thursday, June 1, when the Chicago Bandits host the Akron Racers at The Ballpark at Rosemont. Players will report to their respective markets mid-May to begin preparations for the 2017 season.
