2013 Season Game Recaps
National Pro Fastpitch Partners with GameChanger
League scorekeepers will track every pitch on the GameChanger iPad App. Coaches, players and fans will have access to live animated pitch-by-pitch updates, 150 statistics for each player, and spray chart visualizations of every batted ball.
“National Pro Fastpitch is strongly committed to adopting new technology that advances the league and the game of softball worldwide,” said Cheri Kempf, Commissioner of NPF. “By adopting GameChanger, we are making the league more efficient, teams more informed and fans more engaged.”
Fans will have the ability to stream all National Fastpitch games in real-time. Live play-by-play and stats can be viewed on the GameChanger website or free mobile app. And fans can sign up to receive live email or text updates on their favorite team or player.
“We’re proud to work with National Pro Fastpitch and look forward to providing softball fans with a digital experience that brings them closer to their favorite teams and the best players in the world,” said Ted Sullivan, CEO and founder of GameChanger. “This expands on our mission and commitment to improve the experience at every level – from youth leagues to the pros.”
The same GameChanger app and website used by the NPF are also available to youth, high school and college teams for free. More than 125,000 baseball and softball teams will use GameChanger in 2014.
