“With two outs in the first, senior Kristyn Sandberg put a two-run home run over the left center field wall to pull Georgia ahead 2-0. Sandberg brought in fellow senior Ashley Razey from first after she extended her reach base streak to 10 games with a walk.

“…Sandberg then powered back-to-back home runs to set the Bulldog’s lead to 7-1.”

“Senior Kristyn Sandberg led the way in the twin bill, as she posted a .667 average off of four hits, including two home runs and a triple, while grabbing four RBI.”

Game 1:

“With two outs in the sixth, back-to-back solo home runs from Sandberg and Sito put Georgia back on top 3-1.”

Game 2:

“Wilson, Pauly and Sandberg each had two hits in the contest, with one being a home run for each.

“…Sandberg powered a triple to the center field wall to bring Razey around the bases and give Georgia the 1-0 lead in the first.

“The Bulldogs had a chance in the top of the fourth, as Kristyn Sandberg led off the inning with a walk. She moved to third on a passed ball and an error that put Brittney Hubbard at first. Georgia was unable to push Sandberg across home plate, as the final batter was retired.”
