PROFESSIONAL: Enters her first season in the NPF with the USSSA Pride. Romero was drafted in the 2016 NPF College Draft by the USSSA Pride as the 2nd overall pick.

NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE: Joined the USA Junior Women’s National Team (2012), ISF Junior Women’s World Championship Silver Medalist (2012).

COLLEGE: First player in NCAA softball history to record 300 runs, 300 hits and 300 RBI in her career. Owns NCAA record in career runs (300) and grand slams (11). Ranks fourth all-time in career RBI (305) and slugging percentage (.882) and eighth in home runs (82) and walks (225). Three-time Big Ten Player of the Year (2013, 2014, 2016). Four-time NFCA All-Great Lakes Region first team (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016).  SENIOR (2016): Honda Sport Award Winner (softball), USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, Schutt Sports/NFCA Division I Player of the Year, Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-America First Team. JUNIOR (2015): Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-America First Team, espnW Softball Player of the Year, All-Big Ten First Team, NFCA Great Lakes All-Region First Team, Big Ten Tournament MVP, NCAA All-Tournament Team. SOPHOMORE (2014): NFCA All-America First Team, NFCA All-Great Lakes Region First Team, Big Ten Player of the Year, USA Softball Top-3 Finalist Collegiate Player of the Year, All-Big Ten First Team, Big Ten All-Tournament Team, Big Ten Player of the Week, espnW Preseason All-American First Team, USA Softball Preseason Top 50 Players to Watch List. FRESHMAN (2013): Big Ten Player of the Year, Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Great Lakes All-Region First Team, All-Big Ten First Team, Big Ten Player of the Week, Seven-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week.

PERSONAL: Sierra was born on March 19, 1994 to Michael and Melissa Romero. Enrolled in College of Literature, Science and the Arts, majored in general studies. Has three siblings: Sydney, Michael and Sophia. Younger sister Sydney plays for Oklahoma. Played alongside younger sister on Team USA. Would love to have dinner with Mike Trout, Channing Tatum, and David Beckham.
