Viera, FL-August 30, 2017- The Pride are taking action in the wake of Hurricane Harvey’s destruction and have raised $3,500 for the JJ Watt fund in hopes of alleviating the time to get Houston back on its feet.
With Megan Wiggins and Lauren Chamberlain both taking the lead on social media, they are encouraging their fans to follow up and do what they can to help Texas. They’ve also urged the rest of the NPF to step forward and continue the support within the league to raise as much as they can collectively.
The JJ Watt fund, a campaign that has gained so much traction on social media has now raised over 14 million dollars and has set another goal of $15 million for the victims of Harvey.
