Watley, Wiggins and Ricketts Advance to Japan Softball League Championship Tournament

Kisimmee, FL-Toyota, BIC Camera, Shoikki and Hondathe final four teams that have advanced to the 48th  Annual Japan Women’s Softball League Championship Tournament.

In USSSA Pride terms we have Natasha WatleyMegan Wiggins and Keilani Ricketts all fighting for the top stop in the finals.

Back in September the JLS season was well underway following the 2015 NPF Championship Series. Since then Wiggins, Watley and Ricketts have garnered respectable stats for the Japan Softball League.

Megan Wiggins leads the Japan Softball League in home runs (10) and RBI (24). Keilani Ricketts has 2.19 ERA with 9 wins and Natasha Watley  has two home runs and 1 RBI.

The Championship Tournament takes place this weekend on October 31st and November 1st. This Saturday, games one and two will be played. Game one will pit Toyota against BIC Camera at 12 am (EST) while game two will have Toyoda loom (Shoikki) face Honda at 2:30 am (EST).

To refresh your memory, Natasha Watley is on team Toyota, Megan Wiggins plays for BIC Camera and Keilani Ricketts pitches for Toyoda loom (Shoikki).

On Sunday you can expect the semi-finals at 9:30 pm (est), the final at 12:30 am (est) and the awards ceremony at 2:30 am (est). All tournament updates can be followed here on the live feed.
